Not to be outdone by other streaming services, NBC has gotten into the streaming service as well. And for those of us looking for free content to watch online, this is great. They have a huge library of movies and TV shows that you can watch anytime and on any device.
They do have paid plans but they also offer a completely free plan that allows you to stream hundreds of shows and movies. If you do decide to upgrade to the paid version, you can access a lot more.
Since they no longer offers a free version, I wrote a guide for those who can’t or don’t want to pay for yet another streaming subscription plan on how to stream Peaco*ck TV for free.
3. Crackle

Crackle is one of the best websites to watch free films online.
It’s owned by Sony, and offers a pretty large catalogue of movies – it’s like a free Netflix!
On there, you’ll find popular TV shows, like Seinfeld, and a range of films, from adventure to thriller.
You do have to register with Crackle to watch movies on there, but it’s free to do and it doesn’t take long.
There are some ads, but there aren’t pop ups like you have to deal with on other platforms, like Putlocker.
4. Popcornflix

Popcornflix is a streaming platform that allows you to watch a ton of movies and TV shows.
It’s sort of like Netflix, but with a smaller catalogue.
You can watch movies for free without downloading – you don’t even have to register with the site to view content either.
There are a variety of genres available, from comedy to action.
It’s an easy to use platform, and there’s also a handy search bar that you can use to find specific titles.
Compared to other platforms, like 123movies, Popcornflix, doesn’t have as wide a range of movies available.
5. 123 Movies Free

For an extensive collection of free movies, you really can’t get much better than 123 Movies.
On this website, you can find pretty much any movie. From newly released films, to old classics, 123 Movies features an extensive library of movie titles.
If there’s a new film you’re after, you’ll likely find it on 123 Movies.
The catalogue is updated frequently, meaning that there’s always something new to watch.
If you want to watch full movies online free with no sign up, this is a great site.
The only downside to the platform is the pop-ups. When you click on things on the website, you’ll often get pop-ups. You can exit them, so it’s not too big of a deal.
6. Putlocker

Aside from 123 Movies, Putlocker is probably one of the best places to watch free movies online.
It offers such an extensive selection of movies and TV shows, that you’d be hard-pressed to find a movie that’s not on there.
From movies that have just been released to classics from the golden age of cinema, there are tons of movies to choose from on Putlocker.
You don’t even need to register with the site to watch movies on there.
As with 123 Movies, Putlocker does have a lot of pop ups, which is a little annoying. But, again, you can cross them off and once the movie starts playing you don’t get any more appearing.
7. SockShare

For a great selection of movies old and new, you should check out SockShare.
It’s a streaming website that allows you to watch movies online for free, without having to download anything.
It’s a really easy to use platform – it features a clean, easy to navigate design, which makes watching movies on there quick and simple.
You can search for the movie you want by entering the name of the film or you can search for titles that star a particular actor, like Sandra Bullock or Ryan Reynolds.
There are also tabs on the top of the homepage that you can click on to find movies, like “newly released”, “movie genres”, and “countries”.

D.U.D Movies
If you want to watch free movies online without downloading, then check out D.U.D movies.
On there, you’ll find all sorts of titles, including new movies, and well-known titles, like John Wick and Deadpool.
You can simply browse through the homepage to see recently added movies, or you can browse through movies by genre – like with most other streaming sites, there’s also a search bar that you can use to find specific films.
The only problem with D.U.D Movies is that you have to click play a few times and view quite a few pop-ups before the movie will play, which is a little annoying, but once the movie starts, you don’t have to deal with pop-ups.
TMoviesNow
TMoviesNow is another streaming platform that features a huge catalogue of movies.
The website is really easy to navigate and displays available titles clearly.
When you visit the homepage, you’ll see featured movies or you can click on other options, like “top viewed today”.

Vimeo
Vimeo is a platform like YouTube, where anyone can upload their own content.
What’s great about Vimeo is that it offers tons of movies from indie film-makers.
If you’re looking for mainstream movies and newly released blockbusters, then Vimeo isn’t the platform for you – but, if you’re looking for independent movies, then it definitely is.
