I’ll say it: Galentine’s Day is so much more fun than Valentine’s Day. Like, yes, Valentine’s Day is fun and romantic and cheesy and all of the good mushy things. Still, I will always choose Galentine’s Day first.

It’s a day to celebrate your friends as the real Valentines in our lives. We should be celebrating them all day, every day, but this is the day to do it with a little bit more pink and glitter.
What started as a fictional holiday quickly morphed into one of the best days of the year, and it should be celebrated with as much care as Christmas, Halloween and New Year’s Eve combined.
Also, an important reminder: Literally anyone can celebrate Galentine’s Day. The entire point is to celebrate the people who you love so, so deeply in a platonic way.
